When I was a child I couldn't decide whether my favorite color was green or blue, then I added red and I got completely confused. Back then I thought I was defective because I couldn't make up my mind about such a small thing. I felt as if I was left behind somehow. Eventually I discovered my "defect" granted me the chance to appreciate all colors, switch between one or the other and mix them all together whenever I wanted to while other people could only see beauty in one or two things at once. I noticed I didn't have to choose (or I chose not to choose) and I never thought of myself as "defective" again.

One day, when I was about 5, I discovered that just by staying quiet and watching closely you can learn many things about other people. It's almost as if you could penetrate their minds and see them for who they really are. I noticed I ended up creating some sort of internal representation of them inside my head.

More than 25 years later I have taken in too many souls and now I can feel them all in my head at once. I try to get them out with every drawing, blogpost, written song or story. That's my background; I do all these things because I don't have a choice.

Recently I've learned that falling in love is rare, being loved in return by the person you love beats all odds. But getting out of our comfort zone to find another one with our partner is not a matter of fate, it's a matter of hard work... work in tandem.
